Our compact kitchens: BASILEA and NOMAD
Two kitchen concepts for small spaces and different needs.
BASILEA is our stationary, individually made-to-measure compact kitchen. NOMAD is a mobile kitchen on wheels that can also be configured for use without permanent water or electricity connections.
Both models are manufactured by Wood and Luxury GmbH in its own Swiss joinery workshop.
The made-to-measure compact kitchen
BASILEA is a stationary, modular compact kitchen for tiny houses, studios, holiday apartments and small apartments.
The smallest configuration is only 99 cm wide and combines a sink, cooktop and refrigerator. Depending on the available space and your individual needs, BASILEA can be extended with an oven, dishwasher, storage modules, wall cabinets and tall cabinets.
Ideal for anyone looking to integrate a fully functional, made-to-measure kitchen permanently into a small space.
The mobile and optionally off-grid compact kitchen
NOMAD is a freestanding compact kitchen on wheels. It is designed for places that require a flexible kitchen solution, such as a studio, garden room, holiday property, tiny house or terrace.
Depending on the configuration, NOMAD can be equipped with a sink, cooktop, refrigerator, oven, storage space and fresh- and waste-water tanks.
Ideal when your kitchen needs to remain mobile or operate without permanent connections.
High-quality materials for everyday use
Our compact kitchens are manufactured in our own Swiss joinery workshop using durable and carefully selected materials.
Depending on the model and configuration, we use robust plywood, solid wood and other high-quality surfaces. Fronts and worktops can be individually selected to suit the space, the desired design and everyday use.
